We have partnered with Place for you to pay your rent by bank account or credit card. However, there is a convenience charge for payment of this method. Payment by bank account is a flat $1.95 fee. Payment by credit card is a 2.9% fee. Please note, payment must reach us by the 5th of each month. Place advises payment must be made 4 days prior in order for rent to be on time. Alternatively, you can also pay rent at any Walmart, 7 days a week. This method is FREE of charge! Simply go to any Walmart and go to the Woodforest Bank that is located inside. Please tell the bank teller that you wish to deposit money to “Richmond Area Housing.” After the rent is paid, please email or text us the receipt. If this is not done, we will not know who made payment. There is a video outlining how this is done under “resources” in the link above.
